French crop protection specialist Sumi Agro approached Appaloosa to design the logo for its bio-control product Mevalone. The agency responded with a logo representing natural protection.
Sumi Agro specialises in crop protection and starter fertilisers. The Japanese group, which has operations in France, called on Appaloosa to communicate with French farmers, in particular about its new product, Mevalone.

The world of new products
Sumi Agro wanted a logo for its innovative product Mevalone, together with an advertising poster. The message had to convey the product’s characteristics: a biocontrol solution designed to protect vines against botrytis using a clever blend of innovation and natural molecules.
A clean, simple graphic charter
Mevalone is a top-of-the-range product for customers who are looking for quality above all else. Appaloosa therefore came up with a differentiating visual identity, in particular with a brand logo symbolising natural protection. The advertising environment, a black background, isolates the logo and the grapes to give them a qualitative image. The visual also draws on the code of gastronomy, thanks to the bell, to recall the upmarket world of this wine served at table.
